Owning land is great, but owning land that has a nice fishing pond on it is totally awesome! Even the smallest pond can be made to support a nice fish population! If you've ever fished on public waters that were crowded, then you know the frustration that can come with this. There's nothing like being able to sit back and relax a little fishing on your own pond. Whether it be just watching a bobber for panfish, or seeking a whopper bass or catfish, it is a good feeling to be able to fish on your own pond. The first video has special meaning to me as it was (and still is) the biggest bass I've caught on our pond, but also because it was a beautiful morning with my wife and a buck showed himself across the pond literally just as the bass struck my bait!
