This beautiful kentucky farm was to the last property we'd ever buy... famous last words! the plan with this property was to eventually retire here. after owning it for a couple of years we decided that we wanted to make it our home permanently. so mrs. kapper looked at job opportunities in kentucky. after much deliberation we decided it was not prudent for her to drive over an hour each way on the very narrow and winding back roads. we had to decide if we were going to keep it and wait, or sell it and keep pushing towards our goal of owning land right where we lived. having some health issues to deal with i simply did not want to wait any longer to achieve the dream of owning land in our backyard. life is short and you just never know when your time is up. so even though it was a beautiful farm we ended up selling it to work towards our final illinois farm with mrs. k's beautiful new home and 150 acres that we now get to play on every day.  This property had a shocking discovery that only added to its rich history.
